Nigerian Dwarf buck; born April 21st, 2024
I was going to keep him, because someone wanted to have me stud him to her goats. But that has changed, so now he’s for sale. I will be wethering him in September, if no one wants him for a buck. The people I got him from tried to burn his horns off unsuccessfully. So I’m willing to part with him for $150
After wethering: $100.
You can use them as a companion animal, a Pet Organic Composting Machine; or you can take it to the market for your specific choice in cuts of meat. Wethers are less valuable or less expensive because of two reasons. They have been castrated, and can no longer breed. Butchers will charger at least $125 per goat to process them.
Meat: $7/lbs after butchering. I will be taking him to market in November or Dec.
